KELSEY MORRIS
Kelsey Morris is the owner of The Sydney Co. Salon and co- owner of The Sydney Collection boutique. She has a passion for beauty and loves to make women feel their best. In her 10 years as a cosmetologist she has set and accomplished many goals. She is overwhelmed with gratitude as she fulfills her lifelong dream of opening a unique concept salon/boutique. She is a Sunlights Artisan Educator and travels nationally to teach other stylists balayage techniques. Kelsey also works as the lead educator for a salon software company, GlossGenius, helping with the interaction between stylist and software. She is driven, motivated and focused on guest satisfaction.
MISHAYLA LEE
With over 13 years of experience, Mishayla Gray is a blonding and dimensional color specialist who combines her expertise with a vibrant, positive energy. Her thoughtful consultations and skilled techniques ensure that every client feels comfortable and confident in her chair.
Clients consistently share how much brighter and more refreshed they feel after an appointment with her. Always welcoming new clients, Mishayla is passionate about helping you look and feel your absolute best.
EMILY HENKEL
Emily has been in the industry for 9 years and enjoys all aspects of beauty. When it comes to hair she specializes in balayage, babylights and precision cutting. She also loves smoothing systems and can tame your curly, frizzy hair! Makeup is another of Emily’s strengths. She is an onsite Bridal stylist and will give you the perfect look for your special day.​
Emily loves staying inspired and is always researching new trends. Education has been critical to her success behind the chair. She continuously improves with classes and works hard to perfect her skills.
When Emily isn’t behind the chair you can most likely find her on an adventure with her two kiddos, usually one that includes belly laughs and silliness. She also loves to shop and sip on a good cup of coffee.
MADELIENE THOMAS
Madeleine is a passionate and creative stylist whose talent for transformative color and precision cuts brings clients a unique and memorable experience. Known for her skill with color corrections, bold fantasy colors, blonding, and textured haircuts, she takes pride in crafting looks that highlight each client’s individuality.
Beyond the chair, Madeleine's vibrant personality shines through her love for savoring chips and queso, exploring thrift finds, caring for her lush collection of house plants, spending time outdoors, and collecting candles. With a special affection for "spooky season," Madeleine dreams of one day calling the charming, historic town of Salem, Massachusetts, home. 🌙🖤🔮👻✨
RACHEL
Rachel brings 14 years of experience behind the chair, specializing in custom coloring and haircuts designed to suit each client’s unique lifestyle, face shape, and hair type. Known for her thoughtful approach, she truly listens to her clients’ needs and offers creative solutions to bring their hair goals to life.
A true people person, Rachel loves to spoil her guests with extra care and attention. Her passion for music means she’s often singing along to a favorite tune, especially if it’s country! When she’s not in the salon, Rachel is happiest around animals—she has three cats and two chinchillas—and dreams of one day petting them all. A devoted volunteer in her church’s children’s ministry, she also enjoys traveling, concerts, time with family, and soaking up the sunshine outdoors.

​With 11 years in the industry, Annette is all about creating stunning lived-in color, precision cuts, men’s grooming, and flawless onsite bridal hairstyling. Her ultimate goal? Making sure every client feels completely seen, heard, and totally special in her chair.

When she’s not working her magic, she’s soaking up life at home with her wife and daughter. She loves deep conversations, cracking up over a good joke, and keeping it real beyond surface-level chatter.

Oh, and here are a couple of fun facts: She’s a proud lefty (where are her fellow lefties at?!) and was once crowned a small-town pageant queen in her senior year of high school—because why not? 👑

Sami is a skilled nail technician with a passion for creating beautiful, lasting manicures and connecting with every client. Originally from Delaware, she’s thrilled to be back in her hometown, making everyone feel amazing as they leave her chair. Known for her expertise in structured gel manicures and Gel-X extensions, Sami brings artistry and precision to every set.
A lifelong learner, Sami is always eager to grow alongside her team and draw inspiration from her peers. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her kitten, Aurora, savoring great coffee, and treating herself to a bit of shopping.

Stylist
Somer is thrilled to be part of the Sydney & Co team.
With 27 years of experience behind the chair, she still has a deep passion for her career and continues to embrace learning new techniques. She specializes in creating lived-in colors, blonding, and both men’s and women’s cutting. One of the most meaningful aspects of her work is building strong relationships with her guests, ensuring that everyone who sits in her chair feels comfortable, heard, and leaves feeling their best.

Outside of the salon, Somer is a proud mom to two college-aged kids who are pursuing their dreams, as well as three beloved fur babies. A dedicated plant enthusiast, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, spending time at home with her crew, and seeking out new adventures.

Stylist
At 7 years behind the chair, she has developed a passion for all things hair. From creating personalized, low-maintenance color to precision haircutting, she focuses on the details to craft the perfect style. Her approach is centered around making sure each client's hair is not only beautiful but also manageable and unique. She doesn’t forget about her men's clients either, whether it’s giving styling tips or recommending fresh looks to help them discover their next style!
